Cookie Tuesday
One of my favorite ever jobs was as an Accounting Assistant at a Hotel in the San Francisco Bay. I felt like I had the best job in the whole place— predictable hours, a hilarious boss, and [most luxurious of all--- ] no direct guest contact! I wanted to do something special to show my respect for the rest of my team, who served “in the trenches”.
So I dreamed up “Cookie Tuesday”.
It was nothing more than a golden cookie tin, set quietly in the break room on Tuesday mornings, piled high with buttery goodness, and adorned with a post-it-- a one-line love note.
